Founded by a team of cybersecurity experts and machine learning researchers, ReaQta is on a mission to help businesses seamlessly detect and respond to cyber threats, including ransomware and sophisticated in-memory attacks. “Users are exposed to attacks more than ever with the changing nature of threats. Also, the growth of remote work culture during the Covid-19 has further made it far easier for cyber criminals to cause significant harm,” mentions Alberto Pelliccione, CEO of ReaQta. “There is a need to increase the defense against these modern unknown threats and make users aware of these attacks on both corporate and individual levels.”

To this end, ReaQta’s full-fledged endpoint detection and response (EDR) and endpoint protection platform (EPP), ReaQta-Hive, promises a feasible way forward – all on a single agent. It provides visibility at the endpoints as well as the infrastructural level to identify new patterns of attack and suspicious activities. Powered by AI, ReaQta-Hive is effective against both malware (ransomware, RAT, trojans, etc.) and non-malware (in-memory, file-less) attacks. The company recently added ReaQta-EON and ReaQta-MDR to expand its solution portfolio and better support its clients.

As a cloud-delivered next-generation antivirus with an advanced behavioral component for ransomware and threats, ReaQta-EON analyzes file behavior and stops malicious activities or processes. Simply put, the solution offers complete protection unlike traditional legacy antivirus solutions. ReaQta-EON delivers centralized management of security and behavioral type of response, without the hassle of managing complex EDR or EPP solutions.

With its managed detection and response services, ReaQta-MDR ensures 24/7 proactive threat monitoring, incident response, and remediation in real-time. Due to a lack of expertise and time in managing an EPP or EDR, IT teams often struggle to regularly dedicate resources to threat detection. ReaQta-MDR’s services relieve companies from the struggle of constantly monitoring systems and help them focus on their daily business by taking care of security round-the-clock

We will continue to enhance our algorithm-driven automation approach to reduce the human element from the security process and allow organizations to focus on their business growth

With such robust offerings, ReaQta has successfully served many global businesses over the years. For example, a large European retailer with several outlets—that was struggling due to continuous data theft—could not understand the target pattern nor remediate their systems as their IT team lacked endpoint security experience. ReaQta’s SOC team analyzed their infrastructure and created a remediation plan within three hours. The company was able to implement this response plan to completely eliminate all unwanted threats. The retailer valued ReaQta’s efforts in cleaning up and future-proofing their infrastructure overnight as part of ReaQta-MDR’s 24/7 services.

In another instance, one of ReaQta’s clients was facing a system breach, and their security team was unable to remediate the attack and restore normal operations. With limited visibility into the complicated hybrid infrastructure, they were unable to detect the source of the cyber breach and the presence of ongoing and past attacker activity. The client needed to assess the severity of the violation and required a remediation and response plan with continuous protection. Utilizing ReaQta-Hive, they could detect, track and remediate the threat within a matter of minutes. The solution provided them with advanced capabilities at speed, without the need for any complex database query knowledge.

ReaQta is continuously automating the threat detection and response process through an algorithm-driven approach. The company also participates in MITRE’s evaluations —a nonprofit organization that certifies and assesses the endpoint security platforms—to test their solution against high-profile attacks. Continually setting its footprint across European and Asian markets, ReaQta now plans to expand into the U.S. market. ReaQta is focused on developing new technologies to advance its managed security services by helping clients manage their security without the need for a huge and highly-skilled security team. “We will continue to enhance our algorithm-driven automation approach to reduce the human element from the security process and allow organizations to focus on their business growth,” concludes Pelliccione.

ReaQta recognized as part of Gartner’s Emerging Technology Horizon for Information Security

Amsterdam, the Netherlands - ReaQta, a leading provider of Endpoint Security solutions, announced that it was recognized on Gartner’s Emerging Technology Horizon for Information Security. Named as a vendor as a part of process, application and system behavioral monitoring, ReaQta is proud to be an EDR of choice in the modern digital business landscape.

Gartner notes that new security risks posed by new infrastructures will require fresh innovative security solutions to better cater to a company’s unique protection needs, something traditional controls may fail to match.

Notably, the research states how emerging innovations are better poised to fulfill the more scalable, integrated and more dynamic security needs of organizations.

Gartner reports: “The complexity brought to security, by the sophistication of threat actors and their campaigns and the expanded attack surface arising from digital transformation initiatives, is driving an increasing need to introduce automation, such as machine learning, as a core component of many security technologies.”

Gartner also recommends “evolving endpoint detection and response technology toward enhanced user behavioral modelling”, especially in compliance-driven and highly regulated industries like banking, finance and insurance, as such measures will enhance the detection of malware.

ReaQta, an award-winning AI-powered Endpoint Security platform, utilizes Dynamic Behavioral Analysis to identify and halt even the most advanced attacks in the modern fast-changing threat landscape, including zero day threats, in-memory malware attacks and ransomware.

Named a 2020 Gartner Cool Vendor, ReaQta’s proprietary use of dual-AI engines intelligently profile each client’s network and unique endpoints, delivering real-time threat detection and response at surgically precise accuracy rates.

Leveraging machine learning, ReaQta-Hive automatically alerts customers about active, even emerging threats, without the need for any prior knowledge of attacks, so that remediation of any threat is decisive and swift, curbing every attack before it causes damage. ReaQta’s algorithmic-driven approach has won the company industry-wide recognition, and has also been recognized twice as part of Gartner’s 2020 Emerging Technologies and Trends Impact Radar: Security and Security in Insurance.

“The recent SolarWinds attack shows how attackers can move through trusted channels to get to their victims and a recent episode, unveiled by Tesla, shows that attackers are willing to bribe employees to obtain access to an infrastructure. This is clear evidence that a more holistic approach is required, that has to extend beyond traditional means of detection by taking into account the wider context,” said Alberto Pelliccione, CEO of ReaQta. “At ReaQta we have always been aware of this and we keep developing the best technologies, capable of factoring external and internal weak points into the risk model. This allows us to sense the smallest of changes in the environment that may signal the presence of an attacker.”

ReaQta was also selected to be on Enterprise Security Magazine’s exclusive selection of Top 10 Security Automation Solution Providers in 2020. The company has been named a top Endpoint Security solution provider for the third consecutive year, bringing trusted, cutting-edge endpoint security to customers globally to deal with increasingly complex attacks in 2021 and beyond.
